The Netizens kind of drove me nuts on this one because their defense of Shi-Hoo largely seemed to be based on, “But Oppa was so wonderful and sweet in….
PROSECUTOR PRINCESS DRAMAFEVEREP 3 FULL
As it happened, the Netizens were out in full force on his behalf and his accuser dropped her charges against him, and both of sort of disappeared to lick their wounds and perhaps wait for the publicity to die down. The actor himself just went through a pretty severe scandal- unlike the usual K-Pop scandals, this is one that would be a scandal anywhere in the world, and I think if it had happened in America, he’d probably have been jailed. Park Shi-hoo as Seo In-woo: Park Shi-hoo is a terrific actor and he’s totes adorable here- HOWEVER. Kim So-yeon as Ma Hye-ri: So-Yeon is the North Korean spy-girl/assassin in Iris and Iris 2, and she is very, very good.
PROSECUTOR PRINCESS DRAMAFEVEREP 3 SERIES
Some of the editing is very choppy, especially towards the end, and the soundtrack transitions were jarringly done- like somebody just shutting off the music in mid tune), but my understanding is that this is one series where they were filming right up until a few hours before air time, so that’s understandable. Other than the nori-bang scene, and maybe the bath-tub scene, this is such a charming, fun, romp of a chick flick show that I might choose it to be the FYG’s next K-Drama (We’re watching Monstar as of this writing) One other prosecutor case involves an attempted rape, and one or two include accusations of adultery. There is bad publicity for the specific allegation as well. The second and third episodes have a sideline where Hye Ri and a friend were out clubbing, and two underage boy latch on to the girls, telling them they are 22, and then the cops show up, and the boys tell some lies that get the girls landed in jail. By Korean standards, it was pretty eye-brow raising, but American standards would barely call it a prelude. There are only two kisses, as far as I recall, but they are not the usual stiff lipped, two mannequins bumping their hard, plastic faces together version. The only interesting thing about it is that it was so inappropriate, all of her co-workers were uncomfortable and embarrassed for her as well. I’d just skip it if I were to watch again. In Soo tosses her bathrobe in the tub with her and stalks off.Īt her job they all go out to a nori-bang to celebrate the new hire, and her song/dance routine (and outfit) is really inappropriate and it was embarrassing to watch. It was a very luxurious bubble bath and she’s covered in bubbles, so you don’t see anything, but if you are a teen age boy, you might imagine much. Only caveats: In the first episode there is one scene where Hye Ri nearly drowns herself falling asleep in the bathtub, and Lawyer In Soo pulls her up out of the water just enough for her to breathe. There are some dark moments, a revenge plot that is neither as blood thirsty nor quite as improbable as these things usually are, a brief love triangle that was actually not really annoying, lots of pretty clothes, cute, and fun, as well as some loving family stuff. There are even some nice points made about love vs crushes, the importance of true repentance, forgiveness, and keeping promises. They lawyer clearly has ulterior motoves, but Hye Ri is too naive to notice. Woo In soo, a mysterious lawyer shows up and befriends her, and he often seems to arrive at the most coincidentally fortuitous moments. It’s really, very, very cute, charming, and feel-good.

It just sounded boring to me, but it’s not. Gradually, she learns to be a better prosecutor and to care about the people she works with. She doesn’t much care about her job, because she’s more interested in the latest limited edition pair of 7,000 dollar shoes and such. Ma Hye Ri is a spoiled rich girl fashionista who becomes a prosecutor mainly because she can’t think of anything else to do with her time (she is super smart, but not interested in using her brains), and because her dad expects her to. It just sounded like not at all my cup of tea.

I put off watching it forever, even though it kept coming up in my queues as a show I’d probably like. It’s 16 nicely paced episodes that never bored me. Both thumbs up for this chick-flick fest of cute.
